When you make a "mock up" layout you should add PLACEHOLDER text rather than typing in nonsense. It looks more like real text and is a better guide of how the finished product will look.
TO improve your work fix up the PULL QUOTE. The word "surprised" should not be slplit in two. Find a way to make it all fit without the words being hyphenated (that means when a "-" is added to a word)
Also choose a colour for the pull quote box that matches with something in the image. Such as the red of her lipstick or the mauve of her blouse. That gives the images a greater feeling of "unity." That means it all looks like it should go together.
Add a DROP CAP to the first paragraph to make it look more professional.
Move the last text frame down a little bit so that the text isn't too close to the green PULL QUOTE.
